Recognition of previous study and examination achievements

The Psychology Examination Board decides on the recognition of study and examination achievements obtained at other universities or in other study programs upon application by the student. The decision is made on the basis of a statement by the person responsible for the module. The examination is based, among other things, on the equivalence of the content, scope and value of the work performed to the requirements specified in the module handbook. Procedure

Students who have completed coursework and examinations at other universities or in other degree programs should check independently whether they believe there is equivalence with modules and/or individual courses in their current degree program in terms of content, scope and value. If this is the case, fill out the form "Recognition of study and examination achievements" and send it by mail to the respective person responsible for the module. The e-mail must also be accompanied by proof of the course and examination achievements (usually a transcript of records) as well as documents showing the content and scope of the underlying courses (usually the module handbook). The module supervisors check whether the performances are comparable with the corresponding requirements of the module handbook of the corresponding study program in Kassel.
