MINT Study Ambassadors:inside

What degree programs are there in the STEM field? What should I bring with me for a STEM degree course? What does everyday life at university look like? The study ambassadors from the University of Kassel will answer these questions and more at your school.

Aim

The aim of this program is to give pupils an authentic insight into studying, where they can link their interests and strengths with study opportunities. On the one hand, the requirements of a STEM degree course should be made transparent, but on the other hand, fears of demanding degree courses should also be reduced.

Offer

We can tailor the offer for high school students to your specific circumstances: For example, two workshops in a double lesson, one course of study in one lesson of the advanced course, all courses of study in one large event for the whole year, etc.

The study ambassadors can give an overview of all STEM degree programs at the University of Kassel and then present one or more in more detail. The latter applies to the degree programs Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Nanostructural Sciences, Biology, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering and soon also Mechanical Engineering.

The student ambassadors are usually students at the University of Kassel and also report on their own experiences during their studies.
