Employment opportunities
The Master program Agriculture, Ecology and Societies (AGES) trains change-makers with a focus on the role of Europe for the worldwide socio-ecological transition to sustainable agriculture. The program prepares graduates for the transdisciplinary work of investigating, advocating, designing and accompanying holistic socio-ecological transitions.
Graduates are equipped to work in advanced positions for a variety of stakeholders:
- International, national and regional agrarian governance institutions
- Development cooperation agencies
- Research institutes
- NGOs and advocacy groups
- Responsible trading and processing companies
- Cooperatives
- Complex/innovative farming ventures
With this program, we want to prepare graduates for transdisciplinary careers that link these knowledges and skills in new ways.
