As part of Module 5, select a supplemental subject from another discipline. Selectable from: Sociology, Political Science, Philosophy, Biology, Economics, Fine Arts, Cognitive Science Linguistics, or Sports Science.
Scope:
You will need (one or two) course(s) totaling 4 SWS, with at least one course credit and at least one examination credit. Your performance can be claimed with a total of 8 ECTS (even if the actually acquired ECTS number is higher). The requirements in the individual courses and subjects may differ. Please refer to the course descriptions in the course catalog and to the overview of the course offerings (see below). After selecting your course(s), discuss your credit booking with the lecturers at your first appointment. It is advisable to obtain 2x 4 ECTS, but other combinations are permissible as long as a total of at least 8 ECTS is achieved.
Registration:
Check HISPos to see if you can register directly for your desired course from the overview of course offerings (see below). What you have to do if a registration via HISPos is not possible, you can find in the overview of the courses offered (see below).
Events:
Please make sure to fulfill possible prerequisites for the respective courses and do not choose courses that you will take anyway as part of your psychology degree. In addition, you may not take any courses that have already been taken in the Bachelor of Psychology in Kassel. Likewise, no courses of the non-psychology elective module/supplementary subject in the Bachelor may be claimed for the Master .

Credit Posting:
At the end of the semester, have the study or examination performance certified on the printed form "Leistungsnachweis" (see below) and submit it to Ms. Christiane Braun in the examination office at the Institute of Psychology as soon as you have completed study and examination performance totaling at least 8 ECTS.
IMPORTANT: If you completed your Bachelor's degree in Kassel, please enter the subject area and title of the non-psychology elective/supplementary subject you completed on the transcript of records. This will be checked when booking the course. A wrong entry will be considered as a fraud attempt and the course cannot be claimed.
