Intercultural Communication and Business (Master)

An interesting combination of language, culture, economics and research: The four-semester master's program "Intercultural Communication and Economics" with a focus on French or Spanish is interdisciplinary in nature and combines the study of Romance languages and literature with an in-depth supplement in economics. The content is taught predominantly in French or Spanish.

In Romance Studies, students acquire in-depth expertise in linguistics and literary studies as well as in cultural and regional studies of the chosen focus. In the area of economics, they go through modules such as strategic corporate management, controlling or finance. The basis of the specialized academic training is a confident knowledge of foreign languages, which traditionally has a very high value at the University of Kassel. Students benefit not only from the interdisciplinary but also from the international orientation of the Institute of Romance Studies by receiving highly professional foreign language training from native speakers, studying abroad or completing an internship.
