Participate: Dialog between science, art and society
What will our common future on earth look like if the current path leads to an ecological catastrophe? What knowledge already exists about paths to a different future? And how can new ideas be experienced through art and supported by science, so that narratives develop that encourage people to change and promote active co-creation of the future society?
In the spirit of the "Year of Science 2022 - Inquired!" the project brings the different actors into conversation and starts in March with three citizen dialogues on the topics: The Future of Business, The Future of Living Together and The Future of Technology. The impulses from the dialogues will flow into an interdisciplinary artistic production at the State Theater: "Temple of Alternative Histories" by Thorleifur Örn Arnarsson and Anna Rún Tryggvadóttir, with seven performances during the documenta summer. In parallel, the ideas and questions from the citizens' dialogues will be examined in a scientific processing phase and the results will be communicated in various interaction formats accompanying the productions of the State Theater.
