UNI:Lokal

The UNI:Lokal is a central and open venue and exhibition space in Kassel's city center.

With this offer in Kassel's pedestrian zone, the University of Kassel aims to strengthen its connection to the city's society. With a varied program of exhibitions and events, citizens are invited to enter into a dialogue about current research topics and to discuss aspects. At UNI:Lokal, prospective students can also find out about the wide range of courses on offer at any time. With the SDG+ Lab, the regional sustainability laboratory of UniKasselTransfer has moved into the premises as the main player.

New exhibition from January 29: Herkules Racing Team | E-racing cars from the University of Kassel

The exhibition presents one of the most exciting projects at the University of Kassel, because studying here does not take place in the lecture hall, but in the workshop and also on the Hockenheimring: The students of the Herkules Racing Team build real racing cars for real competitions. They compete against teams from other universities in the Formula Student, an international design competition. At UNI:Lokal, you will learn that it is about much more than fast laps and quick pit stops.

Highlights of the exhibition are three racing cars from previous seasons. Test your driving skills in a vehicle simulator and achieve fast lap times! A Carrera track also invites you to join in and experience the speed.

We cordially invite you to the exhibition opening on Wednesday, January 29 (6 p.m.) at UNI:Lokal!
