Negotiation training and the most important clauses for artists

In this event, we will look at the basics of copyright law and discuss the most important clauses of relevant contracts. We will focus on the core of a design contract and develop techniques for successful negotiation. What is an appropriate remuneration and how do I enforce it?

Lecturer: Katja Dunkel (LL.M) is a lawyer and founder of DUNKEL RICHTER. She advises artists, solo freelancers and companies on all aspects of media and copyright law. One focus of her work is on working with agencies, authors and artists, especially in the area of film and television law. She teaches and gives workshops on design law and start-up issues. In October 2024, Katja Dunkel also founded her own law firm DUNKEL. Rechtsanwältinnen was founded in October 2024.
