Previous Research Projects
The Department of International Management (headed by Prof. Seuring till September 2011) has conducted a research project in cooperation (and paid for) by Volkswagen AG, Wolfsburg, Germany. October 2007 to December 2008
The major question was how sustainability issues can be addressed in the supply management for minor materials and services,
i.e. such products that do not belong to the major production activities.
The following paper has been published subsequently:
Haake, H., Seuring, S. (2009):
Sustainable procurement of minor items - exploring limits to sustainability,
Sustainable Development, Vol. 17, No. 5, pp. 284-294.
