Christmas is around the corner

No, we did not just make cookies. But also. And what could be better than baking BB-8 cookies? A piece of tin, a big nut, vise, hammer. And Bob´s your uncle. Another piece of wire to keep it together. The dough was already in the fridge. Had the brownies probably deposited there.

But back to business: drawing the shapes is, at least for Lyn, not the big deal. But getting the CNC router to produce just that is another matter altogether. It looks all right, but the machine follows the dark side of the force. Yes, it could also be that we had not adjusted one or the other quite correctly. But still.

In any case, we actually spent the whole day milling a part. Starting with the construction of the machine, including the extraction system, sawing the screen printing plates through, to the finished part.
