Digital Technology Group - University of Kassel

Our work focuses on designing efficient digital hardware, primarily for FPGAs (Field-Programmable Gate Arrays) and ASICs (Application-Specific Integrated Circuits). We develop optimization techniques and tools to improve the performance, power consumption, and resource usage of these systems. Our research spans from optimizing basic operations like multiplication and matrix calculations to advanced applications in artificial neural networks. By creating smarter hardware designs and automated tools, we aim to make electronic systems faster, more efficient, and capable of handling complex tasks like AI computations.
