The study program consists of five elements:

  • Fundamentals of Mathematics and Engineering for Wind Energy Systems
  • Specialization: Energy System Technology
  • Specialization: Simulation and Structural Technology
  • Additional Key Competencies: Energy and Law
  • Writing of the Master's Thesis.

Study Organization

Total number of 120 credits.
This number is divided into basic modules, advanced modules and additional key competencies:

  • 30 credits must be selected from the basic modules
  • 30 credits must be selected in one of the specializations (advanced modules) "Simulation and Structural Technology" or "Energy System Technology".
  • The master's thesis module comprises 30 credits.
  • The remaining 30 credits must be gained from the pool of courses of the non-chosen specialization and additional key competencies.

Entrances Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or other science-oriented study
  • 1 year professional experience
  • Letter of motivation
  • Proof of English language knowledge level B2
